NEW SYSTEMS, PRICING & POLICIES

As Milestone Premier Partners, we wanted to let you know about a number of changes which are taking place in January 2026 for Milestone customers.


To better support the community and deliver a stronger and more reliable commercial experience, Milestone will be implementing a number of new systems over the Christmas and New Year period. The transition to these systems means that for a short period of time some services are temporarily unavailable. It is worth noting though that these will NOT impact support throughout this time.


As such, we wanted to let you know that we will not be able to process any orders, between 22nd December 2025 and 13th January 2026 and between 11th to 13th January, there may be limited availability to the Customer Dashboard Services, License Activation and Patches.


All operations will resume on the 13th January 2026 but we know that this may cause some inconvenience and as such we thank you for your patience during this time.

Once through this transition, Milestone Systems will be implementing new business rules and prices.


The policy and price changes for XProtect and Milestone Care are:

  • Milestone Care will be calculated based on device licenses only, meaning there will be no care cost on base licenses and add-on licenses.

  • The pricing for Milestone Care device licenses will be based on an annual rate, with additional discounts for customers who choose the three-year or five-year options.  The two-year Care option will be discontinued.

  • The Milestone Care discount for three- and five-year multi-year agreements will be calculated based on the one-year pricing, with 15% and 25% reductions, respectively, compared to the one-year price.

  • Milestone Care activation starts either with the license activation or automatically after the “distributor purchase day” and the current month plus three calendar months.

  • When expanding with additional licenses, the Milestone Care price for additional licenses will be calculated according to the remaining time on the current care agreement.

  • Trade-in on XProtect product upgrades will still receive a 100% credit trade-in refund, and the “no Care trade-in” by 30% will be discontinued.

  • XProtect updates can only be performed with active Care; the update date cannot be postponed without valid care coverage.
